To distribute liquid gas fuels in smaller quantities, Argent Marine has developed state-of-the-art intermodal and bulk LNG vessels with proprietary fuel transfer systems that offer unparalleled flexibility.  Our intermodal vessel technology has end-to-end patent protection in the US and elsewhere and our bulk technology has U.S. patents granted on certain key aspects. 

Our Patented Bulk AT/Bs:

*have capacities from 2,000 to 20,000 m3

* have the flexibility to separate propulsion from cargo, enabling a "swap and drop" arrangement

Our Patented Intermodal Vessels:

*consist of a marine vessel configured to load a number of interconnected ISO sized tanktainers.  The tanktainers may be configured as standard 20 ft, 40 ft or 45 ft ISO container sizes.  The exact makeup depends on the targeted trade,  over-the-road gross vehicle weight limits and the liquid gas being delivered.

*feature 100% tank volumes ranging from roughly 20 m3 to 40m3 liquid volume for LNG.  Loaded volume depends on tank pressure rating, insulation effectiveness and desired LNG holding time.  For typical tank pressure rating and insulation effectiveness, holding time may vary from 80 day, when loaded to 81% volume, to 31 days when loaded to 92% volume.

*for all liquid gas fuels, containers load simultaneously as if a single tank and can be unloaded individually or in bulk.
